Gadget the Dog

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Gadget, a service dog and best friend to Bonnie. Gadget has been Bonnie's constant companion for a few years now, and she really wanted portraits that would do him justice. I had the pleasure of meeting Bonnie through Facebook (and quite a few friends in common), and we met in "real life" to do the shoot. Gadget was as sweet and friendly as could be, and perhaps even a better and more cooperative model than a few people I've worked with. He also understood that the photos weren't for him so much as for his loved ones, so he never once complained about how he didn't like to get his photo taken (OK, I don't really know what he was thinking--this is purely projection on my part;-). I don't think he's online, so if you see him, be sure to tell him "who's a handsome doggy?"
